The Santa Cilia-Los Pirineos Aerodrome is one of the best locations in the country for gliding. The thermals and air currents of the Canal de Berdun area have made this aerodrome a reference point for amateurs and professionals of this sport.

However, the aerodrome also offers other services. Thanks to its position at the foothills of the Pyrenean range, it is possible to enjoy a pleasure flight over the spectacular Pyrenees and view them from a completely different perspective. The Santa Cilia-Los Pirineos Aerodrome offers visitors a chance to discover hidden corners of the mountains from the air at special rates, depending on the time of year.

Aerodrome facilities are open to all external light aircraft and gliders and services include pleasure flights in powered planes and gliders. PPL, ultralight and gliding courses are also available. Hangarage is provided for private clients. The Aerodrome hosted the Spanish National Gliding Championships in 2010 and is visited annually by many hundreds of glider pilots from all over Europe.
